Ardebil province is in the west-northern part of Iran located between 47 ° , 4 ' to 39 ° , 42 ' of northern geographic width and 48 ° , 55 ' to 48 ° , 3 ' of Eastern geographic length and it's area is more than 18011 square kilometers.
this province from north and east - northern part is in neighborhood with Repubic of Azerbaijan , from east and east - southern part with Guilan province , from west with eastern Azarbaijan province and from south is in neighborhood of zanjan and eastern Azarbaijan province.
Ardebil is consisted of different countries such as : Ardebil , Khalkhal , Meshgin Shahr , Pars Abad , Namin , Nir , Kowsar , Germi , Bilesavar, and also10 cities and 16 sections.
the total population of the province is 1,165,025 which 508194 of these paople live in cities and 656831 in the villages. the most populated country of this province is Ardebil , and less populated is germi.

Ardebil province has big variat of historical places such as : The Esmaeil "Tamband Astrodome" , "chini Khaneh " , "Jannat Sara" , "Darol-Salam" , "shaykh Sadr" , monumeut ,"Ardebil's Bazar" , Saein Caravansary" , "ghiz ghaleh Si", "Sasani" Cave , " Azar Farigh" temple , "shater Gonbadi" tower , and lots of other places that are being visited by many tourists every year.
The most popular Souvenirs of this provines are: "The famous nnoturol honey of Sabalan" , Black "Halva" , "nobat" "Native oil" and different kinds of native sweets.
The main and sub roads of this province are more than 1426 km and the country road are more than 4592 km roads with sand surface 1663 km and with surface 1482 km this province has two airports one in Ardebil and the other in "Pars Abad" which both have regular daily frights to "Tehran".
Other intresting places in Ardebil provinc are : Mineral hot waters of "Sarein" , "Giwi" in Kowsar country and "Fandoghlu" jungle park the amusing "Sabalan"'s domain , "Hayran" ghaut in the "namin" area.
the connection roads from Ardebil to Tehran (until Namin) and from Ardebil to Tehran (until Nir) are highways with night lightening in a very good condition.
